The Animal Welfare League of Arlington said it was made aware of "several" reported sightings of the juvenile black bear.

ARLNow reports multiple sightings from users of the Nextdoor app, including a spotting on the 2500 block of North Florida Street, and another Monday morning on North Harrison and 26th Street.

Others spotted the bear around 9 a.m. on 25th Road and John Marshall Drive, and N. Ottawa Street near Langston Boulevard, the outlet reports.

AWLA urged residents not to track the bear. Click here for an all-things black bear info sheet from Virginia's Department of Wildlife Resources.
